  1. Goalkeepers to consider

Unlikely to be worth it but Raya and Hermansen the most likely buys.

  2. Defenders

If Spurs and West Ham have things to play for consider them. Man City and Arsenal the same, outside of that I would just play what you have.

  3. Midfielders

Gibbs-White, Anthony, Salah, Szoboszlai, Anderson, Enzo Le Fee, Foden, Bernado Silva.

  4. Forwards

Bowe, Tatty, Richarlison, Flemming, Mane, Brobbey

  5. What is worth a hit?

Unless there is a lot of rotation you cannot deal with the hit is unlikely to be worth it over the final game.

All of them

So yeah Gameweek 37 disappoints again particularly down to Gyokeres (C). All the good work done from Gameweek 32-35 on chips has now been undone. FPL is getting harder and this just shows, the advantage of chip season at the end is just not there as much (for me…).

However, 4 to play tonight, 4 FT available. I am 6 points inside the top 50k which feels a bare minimum now and 16 points outside the top 25k.

How things go tonight with Semenyo vs Cherki + Joao Pedro will impact how I feel about those two targets.

So in terms of transfers.

For me, the “weakest” players in my XI are Tavernier, Gyokeres, Hill… and maybe Verbruggen, Cherki or Joao Pedro.

In terms of potential replacements…

GK: Raya, Hermansen, Kinsky / Vicario.
DEF: Mavropanos, Porro, Calafiori, Robinson, Van Dijk
MID: Salah, Gibbs-White, Enzo Le Fee, Szoboszlai, Foden, Marmoush
FWD: Flemming, Tatty, Osula, Richarlison

So a few things will impact where I end up. Firstly, do Spurs get a point tonight and basically end the relegation battle probably decreasing the appeal of West Ham or Spurs players. Also do Man City drop points and so increase the chance of Arsenal and Man City rotation of the final day.

The other key factor is do I bother trying to force in Salah, so needing to go cheap elsewhere like. Flemming and Mavropanos or if I do not go Salah I could spend more on the likes of Porro and Richarlison.

Right now, the most likely moves are either…

  1. Plan A - buy Salah

    1. Van Hecke, Tavernier, Gyokeres, Joao Pedro OUT

    2. Mavropanos, Salah, Flemming & Guiu IN

  2. Plan B - No Salah

    1. Van Hecke, Hinshelwood, Gyokeres, Verbruggen OUT

    2. Porro, Gibbs-White, Flemming, Raya IN

Lets see how tonight plays out and how we feel on Salah before deciding.

Hello everyone! I hope you are well. Firstly, a massive thank you for all of your support this season. As three guys that make a lot of video content, we were not sure how FPL Wrapped would be received, but we have really enjoyed this project and it great to see so many of you still enjoying it.

Now, onto Gameweek 38, and with only 1 FT I am looking at trying to really maximise it and land one final haul. Here are my 6 options as of Tuesday morning:

I think as of right now, Option 1 (HinshelwoodAnthony) or Option 4 (GyokeresRicharlison, Flemming or Bowen) is most likely. However, I know myself, and I will be tempted by the -4 hit for Salah to captain him one final time.

I will wait to see how Spurs and City get on, as the title and relegation permutations may impact my decisions heavily. Ideally, I want both to still be all to play for in Gameweek 38!

Good luck for Gameweek 38 everyone, and have a brilliant summer!

Considered a lot of options last week such as Saliba, Trossard, Gyokeres but can at least be positive about landing on the best one with Saka ©, though the -4 hail mary for Trossard was a bad call! Absolutely dreadful gameweek with Brighton losing their clean sheet in stoppage time with the first shot on target against them, and Thiago disappointing in CRY (H).

I have a feeling Trossard will start again in GW38 so the hit for him could still come good but he needs to score now. There’s two options I’m considering:

Thiago → Bowen
or
Van Hecke → Pedro Porro

I’m likelier to do the Bowen move and stick with Haaland captain.

Harry’s top 3 Captaincy choices this week!

  1. Haaland vs AVL (H)

1st this week is Haaland. Aston Villa have a European final on Wednesday before a game with nothing to play for at the weekend. Whether the title race is over or not this game will likely bring goals for Man City.

  2. Fernandes vs BHA (A)

2nd is Bruno, just the constant drive for returns, particularly assists, against a Brighton team who have to attack and score to win means I think he is a good safe option.

  3. Salah vs BRE (H)

Now there is a risk of course and no guarantee he starts. However, outside of Haaland and Bruno, everyone will feel a differential this week. There is Saka and Gabriel to consider but if we get to deadline and think Salah will start, almost no one will own him for his final Liverpool home game.

Looking at the fantastic FPL Joe Website (link below) for goal projections and clean sheets. Spurs and West Ham fixtures will update after tonights games.

Arsenal 47% clean sheet is top, Man City 39% are the two to target but we already own.
Goals are equally hard to predict.
