  1. Sell Gabriel on bench boost?

Only if you have 4+ transfers would I consider selling Gabriel as you effectively will buy him in back later. Is it worth 2 FT?

  2. Best Brighton attacker?

Welbeck still remains the best, Gross is the safe pick and Hinshelwood is the most exciting. Mitoma, Gomez, Minteh feel more risky for minutes in the wide area.

  3. Top 3 GW33 Differentials.

    Cherki. Cucurella, Kroupi Jr.

  4. What to do with O’Reilly?

Firstly let us wait for an update. However, if he is out the obvious replacements are Nunes or Guehi. Nunes is less attacking with Cherki in the team so I would go Guehi.
Or you could consider going elsewhere, E.g. Leeds or Bournemouth and going Cherki in midfield.

Which Defence to target this week?

BOURNEMOUTH - 1+ Clean sheet - 38%
NEW (a) 14% + LEE (H) 29%

BURNLEY 1+ Clean sheet - 22%
NFO (a) 15% + MCI (H) 8%

Bench Boost Active! 🚨

Wildcard has not started that well but it is sitting just about ok IF the Bench Boost does really well in Gameweek 33. So let us try to maximise it.

Firstly, I plan on selling Gabriel. If I had less transfers I would not be considering this. However, with 5 FT I have the luxury of selling him and then buying him back.

  1. Gabriel —> A Leeds defender. Struijk or Bijol.

Then sadly I think I will likely have to sell O’Reilly..

  1. O’Reilly —> Guehi.

  2. Or I do something exciting like

    1. O’Reilly —> Cucurella

    2. + Hinshelwood —> Cherki if I wanted triple Man City attack.

Most likely it will be Stuijk + Guehi if O’Reilly is out.

Hello everyone! I decided to go for the FH33, WC35 strategy due to me already using my bench boost earlier in the season, which I think has worked out well enough for now. I do not think it is the big win that many are claiming, but certainly a positive GW32 score with 60 points (Mbeumo and Bruno captain still to play).

So yes, the FH is active for GW33, and here is my current draft. I am changing this on a regular basis, so definitely not locked!

In terms of clean sheet %s, if I do not go for a City defender, it makes a lot of sense to back Leeds, especially given DCL is the only attacker I want. Therefore, I do quite like Struijk and Bijol, especially given their DEFCON potential. I think both Hill and Senesi are great picks, and then I probably would like to cover the Brighton defence with at least one pick.

5 of the attackers pick themselves with Haaland, Joao Pedro, Semenyo, Palmer and Tavernier. I think the 6th and 7th attackers are definitely up for debate, and I could even see myself play a 4-4-2 with how fantastic defenders have been this season.

Cherki is certainly the interesting one, especially if O’Reilly is a doubt or ruled out. If O’Reilly is 100% fit and available, it will be difficult to go without which unfortunately kills the Cherki punt. But he is the one player that I think WC32ers will wish they had, and he has the upside to go big!

Good luck this week!

FH

I hadn’t planned to make a transfer this week however Thiago Calvert-Lewin is tempting, as is Gabriel Senesi. I just felt that Gabriel and Thiago could be better picks over the remainder of the season despite no DGW, and given I only have 1 FT I don’t have the luxury to take one week punts. I’m expecting to need every FT I can get later for the final DGW, and hopefully targeting BUR (H) in GW37 for Arsenal. Rice and Timber in could be very nice that week.

Therefore my plan is to roll. If O’Reilly’s injury is serious and he’s out for the DGW then annoyingly it will have to be:

O’Reilly → Guehi

If O’Reilly is just a doubt for the first game then I’ll probably take the risk and keep him, after all it’s the second fixture which is the more attractive one, (though he did just score a brace in the League Cup final against Arsenal).

It’s not the best looking bench boost but it will have to do.

Harry’s top 3 Captaincy choices this week!

  1. Haaland vs ARS (H) + BUR (A)

Will just be the biggest captain this week including a fixture against Burnley. You will be brave to go against him.

  2. Palmer vs MUN (H) + BHA (A)

2nd is Palmer. Despite not looking his best recently, for a while, all season… I still think the fixtures are worth looking at with good minutes and penalties.

  3. SEMENYO vs ARS (H) + BUR (A)

If you want to go against Haaland I think Semenyo would be the choice over Cherki. His goal threat still looks good and minutes slightly more reliable.

I do also think differential shouts on Tavernier, Calvert-Lewin or Joao Pedro are possible but Man City playing Burnley means it is a big gamble.

No update on O’Reilly just yet. It is possible he did not want to risk it or push it any further. Not even any quotes after the game but still Hamstring suspected.

Liverpool, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest & Crystal Palace all play midweek in Europe. However, none of them double this week anyway.

Disaster of the week as it stands is on 13 points, or 17 with Palmer auto-subbing on. 😬

A big Monday night ahead with Bruno ©, Dalot and Lammens left to play.
