Here's our FPL Teams for FPL Gameweek 11
Hello everyone! The final week before the final international break of 2025, and we have lots of movement and action in our FPL teams. Flagged players, chips active, and big transfer decisions to make. Let’s jump into it!

The key question for this week is: Is it worth paying the extra money for Saka over Rice?
Many people, FPL Harry included, are looking at bringing in Saka or Rice if they remove Gyokeres this week. Of course, very different price points, but they both may be accessible dependent upon the transfers and money in the bank.
If the question is whether Saka is a good value asset, the answer is no. Timber, Gabriel, Raya, Rice, Calafiori etc all provide better ‘value’ than Saka. However, at some point you can just spend your money.
What I mean by that, is the goal is not to spend as little money in FPL as possible by picking all of the cheap assets. The goal is to get the most points you can and you’re allowed to spend all of your money to do it. In other words, if the money is available and it doesn’t cause a massive downgrade, why not? Because I absolutely believe Saka is better than Rice, just probably not £4m better!
The one big argument against Saka is that I just don’t see you captaining him for the foreseeable future. Not only because his returns have been inconsistent, but also because the fixtures are just not really there for Arsenal.
All of that to say, I would be happy betting against Saka over the coming weeks. He is a great asset, but not essential, and if you can do a lot with the money you get by going for Rice, I would be happy to do so.

So close to rolling to 4 transfers again… Then Gyokeres got injured and seems to be ruled out for Gameweek 11. Now I am not completely ruling out just rolling and playing Reijnders after his two assists in the Champions League and back in the starting lineup.
However, the likelihood is that I do sell both Gyokeres and Reijnders to…
Thiago + Sarr / Rice
Guiu + Sarr / Rice
Guiu + Saka
Now the benefit to Sarr is it gives me an extra week to look and decide which Arsenal midfielder I might want and can then sell Ndiaye before his difficult fixtures start for either Saka or Rice. However this does feel that I am just pushing a decision another week down the line that I could make this week.
I think I am unlikely to buy Thiago in reality given the short term fixtures do not look perfect.

So then I am left deciding between Saka, Rice and Sarr. I cannot help but shake the feeling the Saka is not worth the £10.1m price tag.

The Bench Boost is still active for GW11, and am looking at taking a -4 hit in my team as well. At least there should be some excitement this week!
The two players in my team that are issues if I am looking to bench boost are Gyokeres and Stach. Now, I could absolutely delay the bench boost and roll the transfer, and that is still a possibility. But the likelihood of finding a perfect week to play the chip is low, I don’t want to keep Gyokeres or Stach regardless of the bench boost, and I’d quite like to free up some money.
One player who I think I have been fortunate not to be punished by recently is Enzo Fernandez, who now faces Wolves and Burnley in the next two weeks. I think it makes sense to bring him in. That being said, I do also really like Declan Rice. So my options right now to bring in for Stach and Gyokeres (-4) are:
Rice/Enzo + Thiago/Welbeck
If the deadline was now, I would go Enzo and Thiago, but I do think it is very close. If I pick up any further doubts or issues this week, I may decide to roll the transfer, start Rodon ahead of Gyokeres, and delay the BB.
Good luck everyone!

I’m not sure how much longer the streak of green arrows continue but I’ve really enjoyed the climb over recent weeks, 5 gameweeks ago 5.3m and now up to 311k after 90 points last gameweek. The Gyokeres injury has put me in a tricky spot, I had planned to roll but I don’t want to play Rodon so I plan to sell.
I really like Thiago as a cheap third forward who I hopefully can hold until around the new year as long as he ticks along. But then the question is do I use up the extra funds to buy Saka?
My current thinking is:
Gyokeres → Thiago
Ndiaye → Saka
Stach → Ba
I can’t afford King/Potts/Devenny or I’d go for then over Ba at 4.4m/4.5m. This uses up all 3 transfers. My bench is a bit on the light side if I do it, just 2× 4m defenders (though may downgrade Enzo when he faces Arsenal), to upgrade one of the defenders. The other option is to buy Guiu, Saka and Minteh and opt for a 3-5-2. Same problem with a light bench so it boils down to Thiago vs Minteh which I feel is extremely close. Thiago has penalties, and perhaps marginally more nailed given Rutter can play RW, though Minteh seems to have cemented himself this season.

Harry’s top 3 Captaincy choices this week!
Haaland vs LIV (H)
Now a difficult fixture might be a week to go against Haaland and it could be. However, a brace in his last 4 Premier League home games makes him very hard to back against. Liverpool defence is 14th for XGC over the past 6 Gameweeks despite keeping a clean sheet against Aston Villa last time out.Saka vs SUN (a)
If I was going to back against Haaland I would look to the best team in the league right now. Saka would be top despite no double digit return yet this season he is definitely on penalties with Gyokeres out and takes corners whilst also having open play threat.Gabriel vs SUN (a)
If not why not back the Arsenal Clean sheet again with Gabriel. Arsenal now have 8 clean sheets on the bounce in all competitions and have not conceded since September. Gabriel is also the highest scoring player over the past 4 weeks with 42, 6 more than Haaland in 2nd with 36! It can just be difficult to stomach captaining a defender.

Here’s the defcon stats after 10 gameweeks of data. Senesi #1 for Defcons/90, Van Dijk in second (looks incredible from GW12/13). Lacroix in third place, Richards for 0.5m cheaper has also fared well.

Caicedo is top among midfielders with 13.26 per 90 and a 56% success rate, then Anderson who has been brutally unlucky to have no goal involvements from 2.1 xGI.
